Happy New Year Everyone!

The next Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours event is on Thursday, January 19th at The Lowry in Uptown. This event will be another TCTHH Business Talk, where we will have a great panel of speakers who are involved in the hospitality business to talk about Social Media & Food. Stephanie Shimp, the Owner of Blue Plate Restaurant Company, will be moderating the panel.

This event marks the start of Year 4 of Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours events. This is a great networking opportunity to kick off the new year and to hear from some of the Twin Cities most influential people in the food and social space.

Jason DeRusha, WCCO's "Good Question Guy", Jason Kallsen of The Wine Company and Founder/Owner of Twin Cities Wine Education LLC, along with Omar Ansari, President of Surly Brewing Co. will be our featured panel speakers for the event.

Event Timeline

  • 5:15 - 5:45 - Networking
  • 5:45-6:15 - Panel Discussion on Social Media and Food
  • 6:15-7:00 - Questions and More Networking, stay as long as you would like

The Lowry will be providing some appetizers for the group at no charge and will be featuring happy hour drink specials from 4-6 pm. Happy hour specials include:

  • $3 Premium Rail Drinks
  • $3 and $4 Select Tap Beers
  • $5 Select Wines by the Glass
  • $5 Happy Hour Menu
  • $6 Classic Cocktail special (from the menu)

The Lowry is a great place for a breakfast meeting with ample parking and easy access from 94, 394 and downtown. Highlighted by Metro Magazine in January issue as a "best" breakfast place and named one of the "best" places to get oysters in December issue of MSP Magazine.

If you want to get to know other Twin Cities professionals, make valuable connections, meet new friends and learn a little something about social media and food, join us on the 19th for this event.

You are encouraged to share this with a colleague, friend or business partner that may be interested in attending. Please RSVP by registering for the event, as we have a limited amount of space and need to let our hosts know how many to expect.

Valet parking can be accessed from Hennepin Avenue.

I look forward to seeing you all there, it will be a fun event! If you have any questions, please let me know.

-Jeff

Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours

Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours is a group for business professionals to get a chance to meet and greet with other area professionals and enjoy a different happy hour spot one Thursday of each month (typically the 3rd week of the month).

This group is open to anyone who is an active professional in the Twin Cities business world. Whether you are a business owner, corporate professional, doctor, engineer or IT professional, we welcome all people in different stages of their career, new or experienced.

The group is very casual and encourages a social networking environment, if you are new to the city it's a great place to meet new friends.

Also, friends and colleagues are more than welcome to come enjoy the happy hours with us, so feel free to share the group with others you know that might be interested.
